2. Using This Website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not misuse the site, reproduce its content without permission, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it.
We reserve the right to amend or withdraw the website, or any content on it, without notice.
3. Orders & Contract
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email. We reserve the right to decline any order, for example if a work has already been sold or if there is an error in pricing.
All prices are listed in GBP (£) and are inclusive of any applicable VAT where stated.
4. Payment
Full payment is required at the time of purchase for original works and prints. For commissions, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required before work begins, with the balance due upon completion.
Payments are processed securely via Squarespace. We do not store your payment details.
5. Shipping & Delivery
We take considerable care in packaging all works for safe transit. Estimated delivery timeframes are provided at checkout and are indicative only — we cannot guarantee delivery dates once a parcel is with a courier.
Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery. We recommend that you inspect your order promptly upon receipt and notify us of any damage within 48 hours.
For international orders, the buyer is responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs charges applicable in their country.
6. Returns & Cancellations
Please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details. In summary:
Original paintings purchased online may be returned within 14 days of receipt under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013
Bespoke commissions are non-refundable once work has commenced
Damaged or incorrect items will be remedied at our expense
7. Intellectual Property & Copyright
All artwork, images, and written content on this website are the intellectual property of Terra & Bloom and Alexandra Townsend, and are protected by copyright.
Purchase of a physical artwork does not transfer copyright. We retain all reproduction rights unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing. You may not reproduce, publish, or sell images of purchased works without our prior written consent.
For licensing enquiries, please contact us directly.
8. Commissions
By commissioning a work, you agree to the following:
A 50% deposit is required to begin; this is non-refundable if you cancel after work has commenced
You will be consulted at agreed review stages; significant changes requested after work is underway may incur additional charges
The final work will be dispatched once the remaining balance is received
We retain copyright in all commissioned works unless a separate written agreement transfers it
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Terra & Bloom shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or any products purchased from us.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
